RoboCup 2013 about to start

23 Jun, 2013

Only three days left until the start of the largest international robotics event the year, RoboCup 2013. Five days of exciting continuous competitions, demonstrations and fun workshops, all free to visit at the Genneper Parks in Eindhoven.

What to expect as a visitor? Of course many fun and exciting games of robot soccer. But there is much more. RoboCup consists of several competitions, think of care robots that perform tasks in a domestic situation in the RoboCup@Home league, or rescue robots that search for victims in a simulated emergency in the  RoboCup Rescue League.

Besides these matches  for the different RoboCup leagues (see program for times and locations) there are also many other interesting activities regarding robotics and technology at the Robot Playground. Kids can cuddle with sweet dinosaur robots, build and program a robot or watch a movie in the Robot Theatre.

Since we want to give everyone to possibility to experience how much fun robotics and technology is, RoboCup 2013 is open every day from 9 am to 9 open. Also for you!

The exact schedule of the competitions is not yet decided. Please notice that you will be able to see competitions of every league on every day.
